America’s Got Talent has shared an early release audition ahead of Tuesday’s new episode of Season 19, featuring a young singer named Mia Soleil Sanchez. The 13-year-old wowed the judges with a Billie Eilish cover.

Singer Wows with Billie Eilish Cover in AGT Early Release

For her audition, Mia Soleil Sanchez performed “Happier Than Ever” by Billie Eilish. She showed off a voice beyond her years, belting out the song’s emotional lyrics. She even held a seriously impressive note at the end of the performance.

The judges and audience were clearly impressed by Mia’s talent. Judge Howie Mandel predicted that people would know her name the next day, saying he thinks “America and the world will love you.”

Heidi Klum praised Mia’s voice, as well as “the look that you’re serving.” She called her a “very gutsy young lady,” adding, “I’m very proud of you. Well done.” Sofia Vergara agreed, calling Mia “a star.”

“You know, what was cool is that you kind of grew with the song,” Simon Cowell remarked. “And that’s not easy. And I think that means that you’ve got great taste. You know where you’re going. So I really, really, really liked this audition.”

Season 19 Returns on Tuesday

Unsurprisingly, Mia earned four “yes” votes from the judges to move on in the competition. After she left the stage, Mandel commented that he wishes they had three Golden Buzzers each. Klum replied, “I would love to have 10.”

You can see Mia’s audition, as well as several others, when AGT Season 19 returns on Tuesday night at 8/7c on NBC. This season, the judges get to hit the Golden Buzzer twice for the acts they want to send straight to the live shows.

So far, Cowell, Mandel, and Klum have all hit the Golden Buzzer twice, while host Terry Crews has hit it once. That means we’re still waiting for Vergara’s second Golden Buzzer, and maybe a group Golden Buzzer at some point.
