America’s Got Talent Season 17 is winding down this week, as the Top 11 take the stage to perform on Tuesday night before Wednesday’s winner announcement. It will be up to America to decide who should take home the $1 million prize.

This year’s Finals is shaping up to be one of the strongest we’ve ever seen, with plenty of variety among the acts. Let’s take a look at who seems most likely to make it into the Top 5, and which act may win the whole season.

America’s Got Talent Season 17 Top 5 Prediction

The Top 11 acts going into the Finals include four Golden Buzzer acts. I predict that three will make it into the Top 5 during this week’s finale — The Mayyas, Chapel Hart, and Sara James. Although Avery Dixon is incredible, his competition is so fierce that I don’t see him breaking into the Top 5.

Alongside those three Golden Buzzers, I predict that two dark horses will join the Top 5. The first is magician Yu Hojin. His inclusion in the Finals came as a bit of a surprise earlier this season, edging out Golden Buzzer Maddie. He’s up against fellow magician Nicolas Ribs, but based on social media popularity, Yu seems to be the fan favorite.

And rounding out the Top 5, I predict that pole dancer Kristy Sellars will earn America’s vote. She brings something completely new to the table, and it seems like her performances are only getting more and more ambitious. If she can pull out something impressive enough, I think America will follow through.

Who Will Be Named the Season 17 Winner?

Now that we’ve predicted the Top 5 for this season, it’s time to predict which act will be the winner. As a reminder, the winner of the show takes home the $1 million prize and joining the AGT live show in Las Vegas. My pick for the Season 17 winner is The Mayyas.

This dance group from Lebanon earned Sofia Vergara’s Golden Buzzer with their hypnotizing audition. The group then pulled out all the stops for a Qualifiers performance that had the audience and the judges on their feet. I predict that they will be the first dance group to win the competition.

The America’s Got Talent Season 17 finale will air on Tuesday and Wednesday night on NBC. The Top 11 acts will perform Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and the results will be announced Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
