Former The Voice coach Nick Jonas appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show this week to share that he collaborated with the host on a new popcorn flavor. Jonas, along with his brothers and their friend Rob Gorbowsky, has a brand called Rob’s Popcorn.

Nick Jonas, Kelly Clarkson Announce New Popcorn Flavor

According to the Rob’s Popcorn website, Rob Gorbowsky is the father of Greg Gorboswky, a member of the Jonas Brothers’ management team. After eating his special-recipe popcorn backstage for years, the band teamed up with Gorbowsky to sell it.

During his appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Jonas teased that they “collaborated with somebody really incredible on it.” That person turned out to be Clarkson herself. She shared that she loves Rob’s Popcorn and was “super stoked” to collaborate.

The host then challenged an audience member to guess the flavor she chose by tasting it. Guesses included chipotle and Old Bay, but it turned out to be barbecue-flavored. You can order Kelly’s Classic BBQ popcorn on the Rob’s Popcorn website.

Jonas Recently Celebrated His Daughter’s Birthday

During his time on Clarkson’s show, Jonas also talked about celebrating his daughter Malti’s first birthday. He and his wife Priyanka Chopra recently threw her a party to celebrate the milestone.

“We had to celebrate. She went through a pretty wild journey in the early part of her life,” Jonas said, referring to the time she spent in the NICU when she was first born. “So we had to celebrate in style. She’s 1, she’s beautiful, it’s amazing.”

Jonas said he didn’t make any New Year’s resolutions for 2023, but he has a few “goals and ambitions” for this year, both personal and professional. Clarkson suggested that he should “try and get sleep this year” as a new father.
