The band Paramore has had to reschedule several dates on their current tour due to an “illness within the touring party.” It started with a last-minute cancellation of their show in San Francisco on Saturday night. The band later announced that three more dates were postponed.
Paramore Postpones Tour Dates Due to Illness
Billboard reports that just hours before Paramore was scheduled to take the stage at the Chase Center in San Francisco on Saturday night, the band canceled the show due to illness. They later took to Instagram to apologize for the last-minute announcement.
“We tried everything in our ability to put on the show last night,” the band wrote. “We know that some of you waited in line for hours, traveled far distances, and moved around plans to be there. We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused.”
The San Francisco show has been rescheduled for August 7. On Sunday, the group announced that they were also postponing this week’s concerts in Seattle, Portland, and Salt Lake City. The dates were rescheduled to August 9, 10, and 13.
The band shared that this decision was made “in the interest of our health and the ability to put on a show you all deserve.” They assured fans that tickets for the rescheduled shows will be valid for the new dates, and that refunds will be available for the next seven days.

The Band Is Touring with Taylor Swift Next Year
The next date on Paramore’s current tour, after the concerts that were postponed, is July 29 in Tulsa. The North American leg of the tour will now end on August 13 with the rescheduled concert in Salt Lake City. After that, they’ll take the stage in Australia and New Zealand.
Then next year, the band will join Taylor Swift on the European leg of her Eras Tour. They’ll kick things off in Paris in May, before moving on to Stockholm, Madrid, London, Amsterdam, and more. Paramore is scheduled to appear on all 48 dates in Europe.
The band’s frontwoman, Hayley Williams, was recently featured on the song “Castles Crumbling,” a vault track from Swift’s new re-recorded album Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).
