Paula Abdul will be a guest judge on Dancing with the Stars next week for Music Video Night. The former American Idol judge recently announced that she’s joining New Kids on the Block on tour next year.

Paula Abdul to Appear on DWTS Music Video Night

During this week’s episode of Dancing with the Stars, co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough teased that next week will be Music Video Night, featuring Paula Abdul as a guest judge alongside regular panelists Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli.

Abdul will likely be promoting her upcoming tour with New Kids on the Block. She announced the news on Instagram earlier this week. Abdul and NKOTB will be embarking on the Magic Summer Tour. Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 3, with pre-sale on Thursday.

We don’t know which music videos will inspire the couples next week, but pro Peta Murgatroyd teased on Instagram that she and Barry Williams will be dancing the Quickstep. She also mentioned that there will be team dances during next week’s show.

Whitney Houston Night Is Coming Up

After Music Video Night, DWTS will be celebrating Whitney Houston Night on November 14. The remaining couples will be dancing to hits by the iconic music star, while Billy Porter will sit on the panel as a guest judge.

The competition is heating up, as we’re halfway through Season 32. Eight couples remain after this week’s show, when Mauricio Umansky and his partner Emma Slater were eliminated. This week was Monster Night, as the contestants got in the Halloween spirit.
